Is your used oilfield equipment API certified?
Pickett Oilfield can supply API, DNV, ABS as well as other certifications when required.
- API Certified – Since 1924, the American Petroleum Institute became the foundation in launching and sustaining standards for the worldwide oil and natural gas industry. API’s Individual Certification Programs have been created to meet real world challenges faced by the petrochemical, chemical and oil and gas industries with specific certifications for critical roles.
- DNV – Det Norske Veritas (DNV) was founded as a membership organization in Oslo, Norway in 1864. Insurance clubs united to create a uniform set of rules and procedures for certification of class and regulatory requirements that is now used for onshore and offshore machines and components.
- ABS – ABS was first chartered in the state of New York in 1862, to certify ship captains. The American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) is a classification society whose mission is to promote the security of life, property and the natural environment, primarily through the development and verification of standards for the design, construction and operational maintenance of marine-related facilities.
